Jason’s journey into foreign exchange began after a holiday to New York, where he discovered he had been significantly overcharged by airport currency exchange rates. Frustrated but inspired, he turned his expertise in financial software towards solving this problem for others. He started comparing rates from various travel money providers online and quickly realised that there was a gap in the market for a comprehensive, easy-to-use comparison platform.
In 2019, Jason launched CompareTravelCash.co.uk, the UK’s first independent travel money comparison website. His goal was simple: to empower British holidaymakers with transparent, real-time exchange rate comparisons, ensuring they get the most value for their travel budgets.
Jason’s background in financial software development enabled him to design a platform that combines cutting-edge comparison technology with a user-friendly interface. Today, the site is trusted by thousands of travellers for its impartial comparisons and commitment to helping users find the best deals.
